Effective March 20, 2020, the Iowa Professional Licensing & Regulation Bureau will not receive public visitors without an appointment due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

PLB is operating during its normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is being staffed at a reduced level. We are still available by phone and email. If you wish to visit PLB, please call (515) 725-9022 for assistance.

How to Upload Documents to Applications

Click on the​ blue “Login to my Iowa PLB” box near the top of the page.

Click on “New User” at the bottom of the page.

Fill out the required information. Your email address and username must be the same. Click on submit.

Please note: Beginning February 20, 2019, unless otherwise regulated by an individual board’s rules, abandoned applications shall be deemed withdrawn. An application is abandoned if the applicant has not accessed or modified the application through the bureau’s electronic licensing database within the preceding six months.
